Terms of Service

These terms apply when you engage Roy Digital App Studio ("Roy Digital", "we", "us") to build an app for you, and when you use roydigital.in and your customer dashboard. By paying a deposit or using the dashboard, you accept these terms.

1. What we do

We are a done-for-you app studio. We design and build Android and iOS apps using no-code platforms, and we submit them to the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store on your behalf. What is included depends on the package you choose. Current packages and prices are published on our pricing page.

2. How a project runs

Every project moves through seven visible stages: Onboard, Plan & Pay, Design, Build, Preview & Test, Launch and Grow. You can see the current stage and what we need from you at any time in your dashboard. Some stages only move forward when you approve them — in particular, we begin building only after you approve the design, and we submit to the stores only after you sign off on the final build.

3. What we need from you

• An accurate brief, and the content, brand assets and information we need to build your app.
• Confirmation that you own, or are licensed to use, everything you give us (logos, images, text, data) and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Timely feedback and approvals. Your project pauses while we are waiting on you.
• Your own Google Play and Apple developer accounts, or authority for us to use them, and any credentials needed to publish.
• That your app and its content are lawful and comply with Google Play and Apple App Store policies.

4. Revisions and scope

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds — currently 2 (Launch), 3 (Business) and 5 (Pro). A revision round means one consolidated set of changes within the agreed scope. Anything outside the agreed scope, and any revision round beyond your quota, is a change request: we will quote it and only begin once you approve. We do this so your price stays fixed and predictable.

5. Fees, payment and taxes

• You pay a deposit at the Plan & Pay stage and the balance milestone payment before Launch. Optional care plans are billed monthly.
• Payments are handled by Razorpay (UPI, cards and netbanking).
• GST is charged where applicable and a GST invoice is issued for every payment. Our GSTIN is 09ALRPR8561K1Z1.
• The price agreed in your proposal at the Plan & Pay stage is locked for that project, even if our published prices change afterwards.
• Published prices may change at any time and apply to new projects from the date of the change.
• Third-party fees are not included in our packages and are payable by you — for example the Google Play Console registration fee and the Apple Developer Program annual fee.

6. Timelines

Timelines shown in your proposal and dashboard are good-faith estimates based on the agreed scope. Time spent waiting for your feedback, approvals, content or credentials, and time spent on change requests, extends the timeline. Where we miss an agreed launch date for reasons within our control, the on-time credit described in our refund policy applies.

7. Ownership of your app

• You own your app. On receipt of your final payment, ownership of the app we build for you, and of the deliverables and store listings for it, transfers to you, and we hand over the source or project files and the store assets.
• Until final payment is received, we retain ownership of the work in progress.
• You keep everything you gave us. You grant us a licence to use your content and brand for the purpose of building, testing and launching your app.
• We keep ownership of our own pre-existing materials — our templates, tooling, components and know-how. Where any of it is embedded in your app, you get a perpetual licence to use it as part of your app.
• We may show your app and its screenshots in our portfolio and marketing. Tell us in writing if you would prefer we did not, and we will not.

8. Third-party platforms

Your app is built on no-code platforms and Firebase, and is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Their terms and policies apply to you and to your app. We cannot guarantee that a store will approve or continue to host your app — that decision is entirely theirs. If your app is rejected for something within our control, we will fix and resubmit it as part of your package.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your idea, brief and business information as confidential and will not share it outside our team and the providers listed in our privacy policy. We are happy to sign an NDA — it can be issued and accepted at the Plan & Pay stage.

10. What we do not promise

Beyond delivering the agreed scope with reasonable skill and care, we do not promise any particular commercial outcome. We do not guarantee store approval, search rankings, downloads, revenue, or that your app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Third-party platforms can change their rules, pricing or availability at any time, and that is outside our control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the fees you actually paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Ending a project

You may cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing. We may end a project if payment is overdue, if we are unable to get the information or approvals we need over a prolonged period, or if we are asked to build something unlawful or against store policy. What happens to money already paid is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Before starting any formal proceedings, please talk to us — almost everything can be sorted out with a conversation.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you pay your deposit is the version that applies to that project.
