For a course or membership that is consumed inside the app, yes — but for almost every Indian creator the rate is 15%, not the 30% you read about. Apple's Small Business Program and Google Play's reduced service fee both apply below roughly ₹8 crore a year from that store, and subscriptions are charged at 15% as well. Physical goods and real-world services are not charged at all. Factor 15% into your pricing from day one.

Yes. The app is built from your own material — lesson videos, worksheets, module structure and the tiers you already sell — so where that content lives today does not matter. You supply the lessons and the tier structure during the free blueprint, and the Growth build puts them behind your own branding instead of a marketplace's. If you want your existing member list brought across, say so in the blueprint so it is scoped before you commit.

Yes to both. Progress tracking with completion badges and a media library for downloads and resources are part of the creator template, alongside the lesson player and the community feed. Offline playback of lesson video is not part of the standard template — if you need it, flag it in the free blueprint so it is scoped and priced before you commit.

Not necessarily, and nobody can tell you in advance what an app will earn. What it changes is the channel: members hear from you through your own push notifications rather than an algorithm, and paid tiers are handled for you instead of through DMs and spreadsheets. The number worth looking at is how many people already pay you, not how many follow you.

You do. On handover you get full ownership of the app and its Firebase project — the lessons, the member records and the build itself. Nothing is locked to us, there is no monthly platform fee just to keep the app alive, and you are free to take it to another developer later.
