1. Who is the data fiduciary

Roy Digital App Studio (Proprietorship), GSTIN 09ALRPR8561K1Z1, registered at Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh 201301, is the data fiduciary responsible for your personal data. For any privacy request, contact roy@roydigital.in.

2. What we collect

• Details you provide: name, email, WhatsApp/phone number, business details, and the idea and requirements you share in the builder or via contact forms.
• Project content: brand assets and content you send us to build your app.
• Payment data: processed by our payment partner (e.g. Razorpay); we do not store full card details.
• Usage data: device, browser and interaction data collected via cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site.

3. How we use your data

• To generate your blueprint, quote and mockups, and to build and deliver your app.
• To communicate with you about your enquiry, order and project — including over WhatsApp and email.
• To process payments and issue GST invoices.
• To provide support and, where you opt in, to send you relevant updates and offers.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Consent & legal basis

We process your personal data based on the consent you provide when you submit your details, or as otherwise permitted under the DPDP Act (for example, for a legitimate use such as fulfilling a service you requested). Where we rely on consent, it is free, specific, informed and unambiguous, and you may withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights”).

WhatsApp & email opt-in

By sharing your WhatsApp number or email and choosing to be contacted, you consent to receive service and marketing messages on those channels. You can opt out at any time — reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or email roy@roydigital.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages necessary to deliver a service you have paid for.

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data only as needed to run our service — for example with payment processors, cloud and messaging providers, and app-store and analytics platforms acting as our data processors — and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, GST and tax records are typically retained for the period mandated by Indian law). As a general schedule: enquiry and lead data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction; account, blueprint and project data is retained for the life of your account and up to 12 months after it is closed; and financial and GST records are retained for at least 8 years as required by Indian tax law. After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify affected users and authorities of any breach as required by law.

8. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act, you may:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
• Request correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent for processing, including WhatsApp/email communications.
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children's data

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly process the personal data of children without verifiable parental consent as required under the DPDP Act.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect site functionality.
