Roaded Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Roaded is intended for people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate entries and for protecting your device and account.

2. What Roaded does

Roaded is a personal vehicle record-keeping utility for vehicle, odometer, fuel, expense, service, document, reminder, trip and emergency-contact information. It can find nearby public places, record a GPS trip you start, show crowdsourced fuel estimates and optionally back up data.

Roaded is not a government service, insurer, workshop, marketplace, booking or payment agent, roadside-assistance provider or emergency service. It is not affiliated with an RTO, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, an insurer or a listed place.

3. Accounts and backup

An account is optional. Skip for now keeps private records on your phone. Signing in authorises the cloud backup described in the Privacy Policy. Keep your sign-in method secure. Cloud backup is a convenience, not a substitute for original documents or another backup you control.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of your records and grant only the permission needed to operate Roaded. You must have the right to store what you add, including another person's contact details. Do not add unlawful material, impersonate anyone, bypass controls, attack the service, introduce malware, abuse shared fuel-price data or violate another person's rights.

5. Location and public listings

Location is used only after you start a location feature and grant permission. A GPS trip may record while Roaded is minimised with a visible Android notification. Stop it when you no longer want recording. Third-party place, route and map data may be incomplete, delayed or wrong; verify important details directly. Roaded receives no commission from listed businesses.

6. Estimates and calculations

Crowdsourced fuel prices are voluntary estimates, not official rates. Mileage, cost-per-kilometre, health and report calculations depend on your entries and are informational. Verify important figures independently.

7. Documents and reminders

Roaded does not validate, renew or submit registrations, insurance, pollution certificates, permits, licences or other documents. Device settings and operating-system scheduling can delay or suppress reminders. You remain responsible for checking validity and renewing on time.

8. Emergency toolkit

Roaded is not an emergency service. It does not monitor you, dispatch help, contact authorities or guarantee that a shared message is delivered or read. In an emergency in India call 112. Do not interact with Roaded while driving.

9. Paid digital features

When offered, Google Play handles checkout. Its displayed local price, billing period and taxes control. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Google Play; one-time products do not. Restore purchases asks Google Play for eligible ownership. Refunds follow Google Play policy and applicable consumer law. Deleting a Roaded account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Expiry may disable paid features but does not intentionally delete records solely because a plan ended.

10. Availability and changes

We may repair, update, add, limit or remove features for security, policy, provider or operational reasons, and may suspend access for abuse or a serious breach. If Roaded is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice where practical. Third-party services operate under their own terms and may change independently.

11. Intellectual property

Roy Digital and its licensors own Roaded's software, branding, design and service content, excluding your records and third-party material. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence for lawful use. It does not permit resale, unauthorised copying, unlawful reverse engineering or use of our marks as your own.

12. Disclaimers and liability

Roaded is provided with reasonable care but is not promised to be uninterrupted, error-free or the only record of important information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, a missed renewal, inaccurate listing or estimate, unsafe driving, an undelivered emergency message, or avoidable loss caused by keeping no original documents or independent backup.

Nothing excludes liability or mandatory rights that law does not allow us to exclude, including applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where liability can be limited, our aggregate liability for a paid Roaded product is limited to what you paid for it during the 12 months before the event.

13. Ending use and deletion

You may stop using Roaded at any time. See the account-deletion instructions. Clear app storage or uninstall separately for local data. Ownership, disclaimers, liability and dispute terms survive where their nature requires it.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Contact roy@roydigital.in first so we can try to resolve an issue. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and any forum given by law, courts at Gautam Budh Nagar (Greater Noida), Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will present material changes where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
